The Little Rock Nine was a group of nineAfrican American students enrolled in Little Rock Central High School in 1957. Their enrollment was followed by the Little Rock Crisis. The little rock crisis started due to the senator of Arkansas not allowing the students to enter the school. The senator sent state national guard to stop the student entry into the school to ensure that the nine African American student would not be able to enter the school for there first full day of classes. However later that month president Dwight D Eisenhower sent in federal troops to ensure that the students would be able to enter the school and complete there day of classed.
